Actualy I can agree with all of ya.

Toamto youre right. We have to make money. People come onto the sites and say " that fort game was " this , or " what about the bridge field " that. The customer knows the worth of a site. it is only the tournament/rec ball player that complains. The joe public pay their money for the deliverance of scenario fields and a blinding day and they get that.

I do not have a problem with own kit on site as long as it is chronoed low and that it is safe. Ask any tournament player honestly and they will all tell you of their first time playing and the guy with the machine gun. This is the seed of the next generation.

I want a gun like that.
Got a gun now I want to play more.
Walk on.
Spotted.
Team.

Well thats how it happened for me and in 3 months MAYHEM 93

well ive just been to delta force. it was a great day out apart from the chest shots only counting. the guy that was organising the day out said that when he phoned them up they said i wasnt allowed to take my own marker. when i got there however they said that you can bring your own markers which kinda ticked me off. o well. still a great day.

Now i dont know about the surry site but our site up in knutsford would be very happy for the more experienced players to bring their own equipment. Gups is right in every sense and as she said, its up to the centre manager on the day. i can tell you the centre manager is a very good friend of mine and im sure that you would be allowed to bring your own equipment. As for eliminations.....

headshots dont count
gun shots dont count
but the rest does!!!!

Yes the paint is expensive....but how else is a PAINTBALL site going to make is money.....through selling PAINTBALLS!!

As for the insurance, im with Gups on this one to, not part of that bit of the company, im just there to turn those buddind young rec ballers into full blown Ollie Langs, or even better, ME.:D
I gathered Knutsford would be kinder to the amatures as they had 2nd hand markers for sale in the shed when i went on Saturday... Its good news but are you sure its not just a friendly thing? are average joe like me allowed to take my own marker for normal games?
