I organised the works do last year, and thought paintballing would be a good idea, as I have an ebalde and the directors would have inferno's or at best Tipmans (site guns) Rang Delta force, the one in Wakefield, and the woman told me that they dont like people taking thier own markers or any equipment. So I didnt book we went to YPC instead, very helpfull and they let me shoot the board with my Eblade.

Ask Gups (Guppy from Tsunami) she works p/t for Delta Force. She could probably answer your questions best. . .

. . . Delta Force sites are not registered to the UKPSF, and as far as anyone can tell they do not host public liability insurance.

(although sites are not required to host PL insurance)

oh that reminds me, he is rights they dont hold public liability, and wanted the company to take the hit, its ok if you on your own, as long as you dont have an accident.

Hi Liquid. Using your own marker is down to the site manager on the day. Players do sometimes use their own equipment at the Homewood site. The reason theyre sometimes refused is because other players, who are paying the same as you, are at a disadvantage with an electro on the field and sometimes complain to the manager, especially if theyre getting bonus balled! Remember, these are mostly first timers and we dont want to put them off paintball on their first visit!
As skullicious says there IS a rule that no shots count apart from torso shots. To be honest i was VERY sceptical of this when i first heard of it but having seen it for myself and having asked some players afterwards (remember these arent tourney players) they mostly thought it was a good idea because they got to stay in the game longer (which is what they want... and not to be sitting in the dead box)
Re Public liabiity insurance, this has been gone over before. I dont know what DF position on PL insurance is as im not an office bod.
What i can say tho (as an ex employee of Sun Alliance Insurance where i worked as an Accident Underwriter trainee) is that having or not having public liability insurance makes NO difference to any claim a member of the public has. The only difference is who pays.. the insurance company or the paintball site operator. Public liability insurance only protects the policyholder from having to settle a claim with their own money, nothing more. Its NOT required by law and will not pay out if the site operator is not negligent.
Hope you and yur mates have a good days balling!
