Based on 24 teams registering, we are looking at £850.00 1st prize - £500 2nd prize - £300 3rd prize and £150 for 4th prize. How does that sound?
We are doing a Round-robin format basically the 2 teams that score the highest in each division will go through to the play-offs and then play for 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th.
So that means that the higher teams will be almost guaranteed a shot at the price money......Originally posted by sub

What about the teams that currently play division 4 at the D7's?? Do you really think that they will place in the top two playing against all the div 3,2 & 1 teams????
I don't think so.........
IMHO, drop the prize money, lower the entry and save yourself a headache..... Prize money only creates a volitile atmosphere when it comes to right and wrong on the field, with so much at stake.
We are currently looking to have 3 divisions, with the top scorers going through, you only have to look at previous tournament scores to see that anything could happen. The prize money just raises the game a little, a little extra excitement.
