if teams got their cheques in earlier we could have weeks to slag off the divs, however, Regardless of what happens 2 up 2 down should apply to every team/division. Teams that come 1st or 2nd in their div have earnt the right to test themselves against better opposition and should always be forced to go up. I can't see the logic in not doing so (zone novice springs to mind). problems arise when seeding new teams to the tourney. We obviously want the best calibre of teams playing but it's unfair that teams should be forced down divs when top teams decide they want to play. That is the problem in a nutshell and if anyone can propose any ideas on how to improve this it would be great to hear them and we might be able to come to a working solution.
