Or....

Just a little bigger would be nice. I know it's really in yer face stuf when they are smaller, but it would be nice not to lose (or shoot) half a team on the break.

Might make the paintball a little more interesting for some players to actually play a game. Our left tape guy got shot out in all the five games he played - on the break - :D
I think that might be abit difficult as the sizes of the field are purpously built. So it would take lots of work to re align the wooden poles and rearrange the netting. It would seem better to me to place something tall in the middle, or work out a way to compensate with the fields, by shooting certain lanes to get your players in.

Just my opinion.

Darren :)

i cant imagine it would take much work, adding 4/5 more poles each way and a little more netting to it. i do have experience, i set up m25 5/6:)

What i dont get is that the size used on D7's is the official MS size, so why do those fields in Germany look bigger....

Would they not be using MS size fields overthere? if i am correct the official size is 50x35 meters right?

Well will see tomorrow when walking the fields, just hope the weather will be good.

well they looked like 50x35meters to me

As for the ones looking bigger in germany, maybe its to do with slightly more barricades and the way the photos were taken of the fields. Could be wrong!

As for increasing the field sizes, its not only the extra work needed jon, its also the extra money needed to fund more wooden poles and netting. Also good luck mate in whatever division you play in :D

well it depends wether they hired help to do it, or did the poles themselves, if they did it themselves, then they have 3 weeks to make the thing like 1/6th bigger which couldnt be to much work, they must have netting left about etc.

also, we suck so much, we might even be in your division;) :p

No offense WingNut, but the fields at the D7 were great - you really had to work the angles and plug gaps quickly in order to win.

To me this is what the modern game is all about - quick, aggressive fields - not sitting in huge back bunkers shooting cases of paint at each other.

And if your left tape guy was getting taken on the break each time, shouldn't you change your plan?:)

Jiggy - you know better than to listen to LJ:rolleyes: :p
