i might be mistaken but arnt the frames differnt on the XSV and nexus from the stock ego?

Also i had the huge privliage of working in the factory for a day so i got to see how much time and effert goes ito making the ego's and the price is well worth it no matter which one you buy EACH ego is hand tested and chrono'd there is so much you DONT know that goes into building the ego!!!!

Plus the internal's are differnt from the standard so there is extra cost there.

No we don't, Ledz and Julian (Planet) are one of our top 3 sponsors in terms of financial input and support.
We are hugely grateful for that support and as such I have no problem in them using my team in whichever way they see fit.

Sponsorship is a two way street and the better I can make it for them in terms of marketing opportunities then the better it makes it for me.

It's all about helping each other out and in this way, it makes any deal done that more effective and enduring.

And those extra hours aren't cheap.

Tool time is expensive.

lol, fair enough. I accept defeat :D :p So arguing aside now, how much do the cnc machines cost to run, and how do they work exactly?

But im still not convinced the profit margin on these is the same as on the standards :D ;) But i spose, if you're gonna make a mark up, thats the way to do it. I'm even contradicting myself now

Aside from there running costs, how many markers have to be made to simply repay the initial £50,000+ cost of the milling machines or machining centres?
Oh and there's the bank loan interest as well, because technically until the machine/machines are paid for, planet or anyone else is not making a penny.

If they made £250 pure profit per gun then they would only have to produce 20,000 guns to break even !
£500 profit would mean 10,000 guns etc etc

The basic thing is that if you think they are too much money then don't buy one !
Any manufacturer will sell it's product at maximum potential profit, if no one bought a single gun, then the price would drop.
but as we all like to pimp our markers, then the price remains high.
Think of something else, how much do other parts cost to produce?
Does a halo cost £90
Barrels cost £100's
Bottom lines.......etc etc
They cost the price because we pay it !:(

the SL66 XSV Ego isnt for sale yet, but id imagine it will cost more again...

but my question is this...

are there many internal differences between the Standard and Custom label models..

Take the Nexus for example..

2 piece shaft, Nexus bolt.. nexus logo on turning on the board..
What other refinements does it have??

if anyone could tell me, id be gratefull..
