If it is the company that im thinking of tho for the life of me i cant remember their name then camo patterns shouldnt bve a problem for them

Hey Skeet is there a web page or a link to see some of there samples or atleast pm me the name of the company cos im sure it was a firm in York near where i work

Here are some samples, naturally, the Yellow Carbon and Leopard print, are not to scale. Candy and flip's are all possible..along with very vibrant colours over chrome/polished surfaces. I am possibly going to go for a Blue carbon!

That company, may do something similar..but, they wont be licensed for decent CAmo, (Realtree) or licensed to do weapons (part of teh franchise agreement with teh American Host company) or, they may use a differnet technique, which is more suited to mass produced items, not teh effect we are after.

Anyway..peeps would be interested yes? Like I said, any paintjob really imaginable is possible, marble effect, in candy coulrs, teh lot...V funky!!

Ok, thanx for clearing that up for me.

My concern about doing an Ion is the rubber ribs on top of the plastic shell. Can they be masked off and the finish be applied to the remain hard plastic?

If not, i'll have to wait fo a new blank body to released in the next month or two (RatPB and New Designz i think)

You want the rubber tips to be uncoloured? they can be coulered, no problem I imagine...are they removeable? I fnot, yes...masking is no problem.

Thats not an actual finish done by this company, but...its very similar to how i imagine.
