yeah i forgot to say about firefox, good program well looked after and its not by microsoft "bonus"

also on the subject of computers any one know when windown 64 comes out? i think there is a beta out now right?

It's out now mate, not easy to get hold of though. Think you can get it OEM but not retail yet.

Do you mean Windows Vista? or whatever it's called. As you've been able to get a 64 bit version of WinXP for a while now.

Yeah, you can trial Vista but it's not gonna be out till next year (and I wouldn't hold my breath for that either!)

Windows XP Pro 64 bit Edition is available in OEM format only

Linux can't do half the stuff I need it to. And if you take the time to get windows set up properly it can be extremely stable anyway.

It's an operating system, like Windows, but in most cases it's free!

The problem is, most Windows software doesn't run on it (easily anyways!)
