Bull....****.....You can't have learn much/anything about paintball if you think that's the case.
THE most important 'things' in paintball are 1) Staying alive 2) Shooting the opposition.
If you don't have a clue about how to play tight then all the 'communication' in the world isn't going to help you because your fat ass that is sticking out the side of the bunker is gonna get shot off before you even have the chance to open your mouth to shout some convoluted code. Furthermore, all the gassing about where the players are on the field is rather pointless if your team can't hit the broad-side of a barn and the others can. Put me a team together of the best individual players in the world, each one from a unique team and don't let them talk to each other.......i bet they still steam roller most oposition....because they are the very best at 'things' 1 and 2.
Front players a lot of the time, when making impulse moves such as a bunkering shouldn't have to tell his own team what he is going to do......the window of opportunity is so narrow that by the time you've shouted to your mate what you are about to do it is too late. Your team mate shot you because he wasn't aware, because he wasn't paying attention...because he was a muppet.
