A common mistake people make is they're actually more accurate and tighter on their off-hand than on their dominant side. Since they have to think about off hand more, they play that much tighter and in a correct stance. When they switch back to what is natural, the ingrained errors or habits re-appear. For all the benefits of playing off handed, your should not neglect your dominant side.
Anyhow another mistake I notice and am guilty off is, when using your gun to extend your bunker, watch or be aware for the cross field shot. All very well mowing one half of the field all X-ball stylee if the other team have got a peach of a cross field shot onto your gun or hopper.
