Before I start I just wanted to say this isn't aimed at anyone in particular, but just me voiceing my opinions about the minority of buyers on these forums :)

How many of you get annoyed by people replying to you selling something, say a marker saying 'I want it I'll send you the cash straight away'

You then reply to them and get no response. You have then been asked in the time between them saying they wanted it and getting no response by other people who wanted it that its no longer for sale.... so you lose some potential buyers there as well....

The most infuruating thing those is when you see the exact same people who have messed you about saying the exact same 'I'll definately have that' to other peoples threads...

I just wish that if people

1. Didn't have the cash they don't post.
2. If they are in two minds about it, they don't post.
3. Have the decency if they change there mind to reply to e-mails or pms'

Anyone else have any thoughts :)

Dave

P.S. Don't get me wrong majority of people I have bought and sold to have been really painless :)

It happens unfortunatley.. I've sold a lot of stuff in the classifieds and most people are great to deal with.. but there are always a few who arent.

Maybe we should start some form of Good/Bad trader system so people know who to deal with.

Other classifieds boards I visit (PC related) often use a similar system.

Yeah it does happen the other way around as well to be fair. But do you not find it more annoying when your trying to sell something as opposed to buy something :) if people don't respond to me trying to buy something off them then I just think, oh well I'll try and find one elsewhere :)

What do you think the solution is? C'mon, make some recommendations.
Theres no real solution to it unfortuanely, wish there was :) My point of this was just trying to get people to think before they say they want something... your always going to have people saying they 100% want to purchase something your selling then let you down :(

I think like most things you learn from experience, there are cetain people on the forums I would send gear to before I have received payment from them because I know 100% there will be no problems.... on the flip side of this there are other people who when they say they want to buy something I would say yeah okay, but continue to 'bump' it because they have either let me or other people down in the past :)

Hope you all get what I'm trying to say, finding it hard to articulate it :)

When I've sold thing on here, the onlt thing I've found is the time it takes for the money to get from the person to me, sometimes its being 2weeks after they said they would send the next day :(

Having said that, I said last week I was interested in a Evo Cocker to a guy and then pulled out, once I changed my mind (later that evening), since I thought I could get more for my £££ :)

Still though, most people are good to buy/sell off, with just a few bad ones......

L1F3 also a top trader, now this is also aimed at no person in particular.

But, when I sell a marker I service it and clean it and have it looking and running its best. Quite often when I buy markers I find that they are full of paint and barrels haven't even been pulled through. Not a major grizzle and don't expect responses from individuals but a marker that arrived recently had to be stripped down by myself and I had to replace a missing o ring and a spring that had vanished.

With one exception I have never been let down by a paintballer over money and only bought one piece of dodgy equipment which had to be put to sleep.

Paintballers seem to be a trustworthy lot if a little slack with maintenance.
Love you all, peace.
