i bet he goes off and starts his own team or something.

A guy like him could teach a bunch of hungry kids how to be real killers. They'd probably just stare at him wide eyed, and do everything he said.

He wont wanna play in low divs, guy should just get over himself. He ****s around everyone who helps him, which aint gonna do himself any favours. He's a marketing tool now, but fact is he's getting on and there's plenty of new superstars in the frame. His game used to make up for his attitude issues, but the guys got a shelf life and from what I hear his team weren't even fielding him that much.

Aye, he's still the second most popular player in the world and he needs to use that to make his money while he can...if I was in his shoes I would make sure I stayed in with Gino and on a high profile NPS team and try to do a Bob Long.

Has he gone downhill since last season? Because I saw him play against Russian Legion at the World Cup last year and his moves resembled Kostia Federov more than any other player I saw. Even Ollie Lang says he's one of the top players. IMO there's still a whole lotta substance behind all the dazzle.

I could, obviously, but, er, I'm washing me hair tonight, and my war wound is a bit hurty, so I'll let him off with a warning.

Which is a very poor argument as one doesn't follow the other. Whether or not Pony could shoot anyone posting in this thread in a heartbeat or some other increment of time is completely and stupidly irrelevant to his present level of play, so...

I will say that Lasoya seems to be less consistent this year in his play--and I've seen him at every event except HB. Doesn't mean he isn't occasionally brilliant but there does seem to be some decline tho it may simply be a reflection of the turmoil surrounding the team at the moment.

I said that his team have not been fielding him as much, this dosn't mean his game is worse at all- maybe, possibly, 'very surprisingly', he's causing too much friction on the team...

Money was spent building certain Avalanche players up, and in the end they became bigger than the team, and it fell apart. Having Lasoya yell you suck from your own teams deadbox while your trying to hold the game can't be motivating.

Obviously (I thought), im not saying that he has 'lost it' and is therefore heading for the trash heap. Far from it, he is easily one the very best in the world. Nevertheless you can't deny that there is a growing elite of players that the industry can cherry pic from, and shove large amounts of advertising behind to build them into a similar icon if need be. Whats more, they are usually much younger than Lasoya. - Like Duffy said, he needs to milk it. He will have to have a day off from being an ******* when the newer breed start being worth more than he is to sales.
