In my general experience, the LAST group of people a tournament promoter should listen to is the players/"customers", with few exceptions.

Of course, that doesn't excuse you from having to make good decisions and provide a good product - I just don't believe listening to players is the right way to accomplish that.

If anyone wants my opinion its all down to who asked the question not necessarily what the question involves.

For example, if i posted up asking the question I'm sure I'd get a lot of positive answers. Mainly because no one would suspect me doing anything with the results, nor having the contacts to arrange said event.

Pete, on the other hand you do. For me it was quite easy to see you wanted a plain and simple answer. But people may question it just because of who you are. You have the contacts and knowledge to kick start an event if you so wished, so people will think to themselves "hmmm why is he asking", on the flip side i can see how annoying it would be for yourself when, and quite blatant in this case, all you were after is a straight answer.

Just my Lil' input :)

I understand and agree with everything you have just put Mikey, my angst came when he (hermitt) just did not and could not accept my word; even when he 'seemingly' climbed down, if you read his post carefully,he actually still couldn't stop himself from repeating the accusation..that was an insult to me and he paid the price.

Fair cop buddy.

If after you repeatedly saying theres no hidden agenda behind any of the questions and still not being believed, more to the point being accused of lying then theres not much more that can be done.
