most other forums have chit-chat forums.

example:pb nation, pbc, games forums etc...
Ive seen a lot of em have those kinda forums, and the amount of posts out-weigh ( a lot of the time) the talk about pball, games etc......

Is it due to the fact more bandwidth will be taken up and the admin are not prepared to shell out for the extra bandwidth needed?
To me thats a good excuse, but u can get more people involved more.
I think you need to re-think this coz to me it makes no sense.

yea sure it is a pball site, but you cant always go on about pball, sadly at times it can get tedious.

its good to have a break form it all aint it?
Besides it will stop gettin people pissed off when u delete the threads.
I think you do get annoyed when this happens?

Simple cure is to create a general discussion forum.
Sounds like ur forcing us to keep it pball only, ignoring the outter world events.

At the moments when you can't think of anything paintball related to say, or when you get a little bored of talking about paintball, go talk to people who are not interested in paintball.
I'm getting worried here. Some of you are advocating it so vehemently that I'm beginning to think that apart from p8nt, you have no social live. In which case we're doing you a favor by forcing you to find one.

i can see what you WANT to do with the Gold Forum.
But why is it there if you dont have the time to do anything with it?
Should it not have appeared with at least 1 or 2 posts in it? instead of the awsome anticlimax that it was when people discovered what the much awaited New forums really were.
An international tourney one... for big time ballers only really(but fair enough).
And an Empty on, where you cant post.

how about putting in threads that have been featured in PGI in the past (HOT THREADS). Thus allowing people to easily find the amusing, informative thread and read it in its entirety.
If your going to imortalise it in the mag, why not here?

This is like my 2nd post for two weeks!

I've been on the forum every night just reading all the stupid arguements between Mods (WHO ARE IN CHARGE) and ordinary ballers (WHO DON'T ACTUALLY HAVE A SAY!!!). Basically I've kinda been very reluctant to post! It seems that unless you are deadly serious you shouldn't be here! Then I read TLs Goodbye Thread!!! Now that is sad! The fact that people have actually had enough is quite worrying! But I can understand that the Mods are pissed off with running around moving threads and stoping random crap being posted!
Now the Gold Board! Thats funny! Especially as Joe Bob is the last poster!!!
Well thats my 2p!

P.S. Billy... did I leave my boots in your boot? (They may be a bit smelly what with the wet socks!) Seeing as you aren't replying to my PMs I figured I'd mention it here. PM me please! Cheers Smally

All of you are welcome to post in the big league forum as well. After all, many of us play at least some Millennium events, so why wouldn't you be able to post in there? Even if you don't actually play them, you can still have an opinion on them.
Even non serious stuff is welcome on these boards at times, as long as it's paintball related. Sounds fair to me.

I really don't see the need for a general chat forum. If you don't keep the topic at least loosely related to paintball you'll just have pages and pages of cr@p to sift through.

Stick to paintball...theres already PM and email for those that want to talk off topic and there's also this whole thing called the internet which has about a million places to go chat about ponies or star trek or whatever floats your boat.

IMHO :)

I really LIKE the addition of the International Tourney forum. A while back the original tourney forum used to have loads of "local" info in it, then the mods changed the nature to reflect the international outlook of the boards and the mag. Now I can see why they did that, but at the time it annoyed and upset a number of people.
As I see it, the split of tourney into general & international shows a bit of thought, and is probably partly due to the admins etc taking notice of that confusion in the past.

As for those who seem to think that only the "elite" post in the international tourney threads, well who's fault is that? I happen to read most of those threads and have posted in a number of them, yet I'm not exactly an international figure am I!
