The answer was that years ago I designed some stuff for the Excalibur but had a nightmare getting hold of a gun in the UK to machine, or details from AKA on where I had to be careful about breaking through the body (it was some pretty extreme metal removal). So it never happened.
Now it won't happen because I work in the industry and am only allowed to work on certain products/priorities etc.
