for a lot of people in the southern part of the US it is derrogatory to be called a yank but it seems to me that you mean it derrogatory towards all americans. im southern so it doesn't make me happy to have to hear those annoying yankee accents but its not fair to stereotype people
i do admit that joe bob is a bit of a newb but you don't need to relate that to the fact that he is an American
don't get me wrong I think the British in general are a cool bunch of people but they were acting pretty harsh towards joe bob

You do realise that you aint doing wonders to promote the international image of your average American.
I don't see anything about relating his constant questions to his being an American.
As strange as it may seem to many of us Brits you don't have to be American to be a complete tool.
I mean look at Phillip, english and a complete tool.

after all TJ described us as being skinny legged, pot bellied people with bad teeth only today, and he's (allegedly) from So Cal.
In fact if anything the Brits get more of a slating here than anyone else....but we tend to see it as good natured banter.

One person asks if he's "a complete tool" lots of other people, Brits mainly step in and say things like "he's 13 give him a break"
