An Icon eh. My mum would be proud! On a side note the last Icon I had never worked either...

The schedule (as I said earlier) will be released tomorrow, ( If there are no problems with it) This is the same as every other event this year , same as last year and the year before etc etc etc . So don't panic !!!

I have re read my post, and it was more abrupt than I intended. For that I apologise. :)

As for 'whether if JJ was a D3 player then his opinion doesnt count', that was the furthest thing from my mind. The lower divisions are far more populated at events than the higher divisions. These guys pretty much pay for the events, I would never suggest, nor do I believe that any player has more of a say than another, regardless of the Division/ranking of said player. As far as I am concerned Jo Blogs has as much to contribute as Ollie Lang. The only reason I asked who he played for was that i was genuinely curious, as i do not believe that I know him. Thats all, pure and simple.

My comments may have been innapropriate, if they were then I apologise, my only defence is that i have been up in Birmigham for the last week setting up the site with fellow workers, early starts and late nights and all, but still no excuse for an outburst. I apologise for that also.

On a side note, are you coming over to Birmingham Paul?:)

Sam, as I said, you are certainly entitled to your opinion and if your comments reflected your true opinion that is fine with me even though I disagree. I also think if I were a player and one of my representatives held those views I'd wonder what I could expect in the way of supporting my interests.

Everybody appreciates a kind word when they work hard and it is sometimes difficult to separate personal feelings from wider issues. As you know I have always promoted the players side in these forums. That doesn't mean I think the players and the promoters must be at odds, only that in some ways the odds are stacked against the players.

I fully expect CC to be a fabulous event which I will, alas, not be present to enjoy. Am also missing San Diego but will be at Cup and Miami. :)
