Ok, quick q for Niall - but Im sure he's beyond the point of casually logging on to P8 so if anyone else knows!!!

Do teams have to register on the thursday? If yes, do we need to have ALL player passes present in order to register?

We will have people around on Thursday to register the team but some of us have to work :( and none of us have player passes yet (and won't have till they get there on Friday)

Where does that leave us? Playerless, teamless?!? :(

TIA

Andy

those passes were a waste of money, infact, the biggest waste of money ive ever seen. All our 10 players bought them, didnt get them till we left, and were never asked to see our temporary ones, or checked in anyway, there was absolutly no need to have them, and i was disgusted. £13.50 for a plastic card none of us will ever use.

Well dude, be happy - atleast you´ve gotten yours!
Still waiting for ours...

The card makes it possible to keep track on players, unfortunatly no one seem to care...

But p8nballer gave hope when they wrote about Dan Bonebrake - who is making an ID program that will keep track on individuals. Hope to hear more in the near future. And I truely hope that ALL organizers take their time to understand how important this is for a working ranking system.

But so far I have to agree with you, those plastic cards are a joke!

The plastic cards arn't the joke - it's the price tag that goes with them!

I have played a mickey mouse tournament series previousley that provides similar ID's for free! I'm sure the millennium series could have found a sponsor for these?!?

And b4 anyone goes off on a "There's no money in paintball / competition's" all I can say to that is helicopters, expensive cars and personalised number plates!!!

:D

I wonder how many people (including yours truly and his team) are still waiting for their DMA passes they payed € 20.00 for.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't someone looking into this recently?
