Having played 19 Games of 7 man on the DYE field on sunday against Nexus and Kellys, i can confirm that the above is not true. Many of our games went right down to the wire, and were won with one or two alive.

And CashMoney, if you were there you would have known it was actually changed 10 days before the event.........NOT at the captains meeting. If your gonna slate something, then get your facts right:rolleyes:

Well - basically I designed JT, Tomahawk and DYE - and Laurent the two others.

DYE and JT are as I designed them, and they are both supposed to not only make it easy to reach the 50 yard line off the break, but also to make it fairly easy to move into the opponents territory.... they are supposed to promote aggressive and entertaining paintball.
Well unlucky boss the Dye field as I believe was set up exactly the way its to be at CC at the Pro tour last weekend.

Sorry to let you in on a secret no1 is making the 50 off the break and you'll be waiting a while for someone to get into the 60-70 etc.

Aggressive paintball unfortunetly not my Crayzee friend, but it was funny watching everyone run out of paint once the lanes were locked down.

Back to the drawing board me old chum

have to agree with Mak, that Dye field was boooooooooooooooring to watch last weekend

only entertainment was the overshooting and kick offs :D
I didnt find the Shock v Kelly's, Shock V Nexus, and Nexus v Kelly's games boring to watch at all, some of the best games i have ever seen/played in. I am sure that both Nexus and Kelly's would agree.

The only bad things about the weekend was the fact that it did not stop raining, and that the Tigers did not bother to show up.

While you could be correct, Sam, I would suggest your results are unlikely to be typical for a couple of reasons. A) the teams involved were of generally superior caliber, and B) none of you were playing for points you had to have to move on. When you take into account 160 or so teams of predominantly lesser ability and the necessity of being successful the first time out you may see some different outcomes.

EDIT ADDED: have noted Mak D and Cash Money didn't quite view the action as you did apparently, Sam, and as the expression I used was 'bog down' it seems to fit nicely with their view.

Sad but true. Only one event all sunday seemed to draw a cheer from the crowd, that was Ledz's dash for the gate with 2 or 3 players shooting at him.
Even when teams were through and won, there were no run thrus, or little that i saw and I watched a fair few of the games.
