Oh - I see - you've weren't quite clear there ;)

Well - basically I designed JT, Tomahawk and DYE - and Laurent the two others.

DYE and JT are as I designed them, and they are both supposed to not only make it easy to reach the 50 yard line off the break, but also to make it fairly easy to move into the opponents territory.... they are supposed to promote aggressive and entertaining paintball.

Tomahawk had several bunkers added to the design after I submitted it, so I can no longer take responsibility for how it plays.

I personally think MS, Chronic and Tomahawk are too "busy" the way they are, and will continue my struggle to limit the number of bunkers a little bit, and instead create the desired effect with clever bunker placement.

Here's some predictions for ya. After the event y'all can come back and tell me how I did.

Chronic--will be a love it or hate it field that generally meets with approval but will play mostly slow with occasional bursts of activity depending on teams involved.

Dye--will tend to bog down for most teams. Burger is the worst bunker in all of pball--including scenario. Look for some teams to get hosed early on this one.

JT--will generate most controversy as the hardest field to ref (followed by Mil field). Will be a strong indicator of a team's typical style of play so will probably have wildly divergent types of games played out on it.

Mil--second hardest to officiate and field most likely to give "skewed" results, ie; unpredictable results with supposedly mismatched teams.

Tomahawk--similar in play to JT but slower.

btw, Nick--like the Dye concept, would enjoy playing it even tho burger sucks.

I think you will find it was changed 10 days before the event rather than at the captains meeting. Were you there?
