E-mail WDP and ask them what the threads on the AIR reg are, then e-mail the tank producer with the serial #, and ask them what the tanks threads are.
good point, but as far i know it was only the govnair range that was different, i have used the same bottle on both an a.i.r and a max flow......also if you look at shops that sell bottles they dont have a choice of thread

If I recall, Nitro Duck also uses the smaller threaded bottles.
Check the manufactures web site. Charlton has a list of thread sizes, and tank codes, I would guess Luxfer would have the same thing.
If they are the same, go to town. Just make sure to protect the tank from any tools if you slip. I use a rubber pipe sleeve on the tank, so I can lock it into a vice without damaging the tank. Don't try to crush it in the vice, just enough to hold it in place.

sorry to say it but if the threads have been damaged then it will fail......im guessing it all depends on what type of loctite and if it comes out of the thread clean

Geddons are the same unfortunatly mate. Think Budgie has had two bottles he bought that were loctited to the regs, and both failed the retest :(

Problem is I think getting the bottle the reg to be tested without doing damage to any of the threads :(
