Just serviced a young lads ego, bottle attatched to marker is a HSE SCI bottle. Born 11/2000, date of last test 4/3/04.
These bottles need testing every 3 yrs ? out of date ?
Oh yes, The trouble is the regulations can be interpreted in many ways, and some testers are ok with testing all types of fibre wrapped bottles to the 5 year rule. This may be the norm now, but i'm sure in 2004 they were rigid to the 2003/06 born date for 5 year tests.

If i remember correctly sci bottles were the first to be tested to 5 years so this may fall into a bit of a grey area, so it may be correct. The label fixed to the bottle should show it's next test date, or the length of the test.

Bottle labeled was tested last by H-PAC , but does not show any date for next test.
With it being a pre 2003/5 bottle, i assume its out of date like you said Tom.

Why did they change length of tests from 3 yr to 5 ys after 2003/5 ? Better standards when produced ?, better quality control ? or just something on paper after that date ?
