bottle date?

Hi all

just want to double check something before i buy an air system.

looking to buy a bottle which was born 2003/10 - am i right to think this has 10 month left test or was this bottle born too early and will follow a 3 year test

its a three year test cycle on cylinders used underwater, 5 years on surface use.

..so if you wanna do some scuba ballin then its out of test already

lol... i thought that rule only followed bottles born after a certain date

The May or June thing is a bit of a grey area. As the bottles didn't change at all it's really just a paper trail, so check with hpac. I've had May (05) bottles tested with a 5 year test, so i expect you'll be ok. Is there an additional label added to the bottle showing any test info.

Just serviced a young lads ego, bottle attatched to marker is a HSE SCI bottle. Born 11/2000, date of last test 4/3/04.
These bottles need testing every 3 yrs ? out of date ?
