Depends what you mean by ban. If you mean an out & out ban at all times, then I don't see the point & many players like a beer or two to relax after playing. If you mean all alcohol banned until after you've finished playing for the day then I'm all in favour.

He means due to a change in insurance coverage no alcohol will be allowed on site.
And after seeing some seriously sloshed players last year and with all the young'uns running around I'd have to say on the whole--a good thing.

Bad idea

i think it would be a bad idea, fair enough it s not good to have players staggerin about steamin, but why should the majority have to suffer for the minority.
at the MM it was great to just go and get a pint after a game or when u were waitin for 1 to start, the atmophere was very relaxed just sittin with fellow players ''gettin the rounds in!''

i think its just down to personal preference about drink, some players love a drink others don t, but just because of that i don t think there should be a ban at all, as long as no-one gets to sideways.

i don t want to come across as beeing the drunken scotsman who is appaulled at the sound of a drinking ban, but as i mentioned as did liz, its good to just sit back and relax with a cold pint of the good stuff!

anyways cheers lads...............Muchooo Beeriooo

was a joke.

:D

lets look at it like this

world cup at disney.
familys at disney
mullered players( not everyone but theres always a few)

would you want your kids to see players walking around in a state.

also those same people in charge of air systems and markers

wouldnt reflect that well on our sport

my 2 cents
