a tourney player who's finally worked out tournament IS more expensive than rec ball...
Rec ball:
Average spend £45.00 (US$72.00) including paint, lunch, drinks & hire gear for at least 8 games lasting full 15 minutes....average cost per minute £0.37 (US$0.60)
Tourney player at the Campaign Cup:
Spend £100 at least for entry (novice) and paint not including food, drinks, hotels and own gear (estimated cost £2000) for 10 games lasting an average of 5 minutes each (30 seconds if you're a front player)...average cost per minute £42.00 (US$67.20)
I never want to hear another tourney player whinge about rec prices again - but I'm sure I will.
