Nicky you stay where you are pal, I need some company back there !
When all the goobers (Nexus point players) thin um out up front that's when the back players become Mid players, and the mid point and then at the end of the game the backs end up being on point. I know people have been talking about an all round player, I personally think that is what is needed from a Back player. No point being alive at the end of the game if you can't move your fat arse up the field and finish off what the rest of your boys (and girls) have done to open the door for you.
I think most, if not all great Back players have this ability but there are very few great front players that can even carry 1600 paintballs, never mind all the other stuff you have to do at the back. Gone are the days when it's a case of put the fat, crap bloke at the back. Ok I'm fat and old, but the new breed of Back players are fast, fit and young.
As for my votes. Apart from Nexus players (they ALL rock) I’d say:
Point: Sam Keats (Method), Colby Keats (Shock)
Mid: Matt Schmitt (Shock), Chris Latham (K2), Steve Brown (Panic Attack)
Back: J-Doe (Ex-Banzai / Kelly’s), Jimmy (Shock).
But I would also have to admit that I’m crap with player’s names.. I might change my mind in a minute when I remember some more names.
