AS for the best marker ever, got to be the Auto Mag! If only they had brought out the X-mag at the same time as the Angel, things would have been different now.

My 2p worth.
Well put gary, never look at the pro teams for gun quality, it's all about money, whatever or whoever presents the best deal.
As i said at the start of this thread, the automag held the top spot for so many years, and with the autococker trying hard to remove it, with no avail. What more reccomendation can you get.

I'm getting ready to buy a new gun and I think I could use a second opinion from you all, so, here it goes.

I'm a front player who can maintain simple guns very well, but has had very little experience with more complicated guns such as Angels and high end Cockers. I am looking for something that is simple and reliable yet can hang with the big boys like Timmies and Angels. Right now my primary choices for guns that I could get are:

- 2002 Cobra Angel LCD that has been used by a tourny player for almost two years now and he is selling it to me dirt cheap ($600)

-2002 Automag RT in perfect condition with Level 10 bolt and Dye Ultralight barrel ($450)

-Extremely upgraded 2002 Vision Impulse with Max Flo and Boomstick ($375)

-2003 Rat Impulse with everything imaginable and Max Flo with Vision also ($500)

Those seem to be my best options right now. Remember when telling me which one you would take that I have a tight budget like any other player in school. Thanks so much for the help.

Vikings are tough, very efficient, and fast, but If you don't feel any kick, you must be out of your mind. They have a steady and constant force that pushes the gun up and back. Maybe you are used to it. Also, though reliable, they require proprietary tools to work on them. The electronics require a PDA or computer. If it breaks at the field, you are out of luck unless there happens to be an AKA tech there.
Not out of our minds just have a 'broken in' marker.
The tools you refer to aint exactly expensive, the main reason 'proprietary tools' are needed was to ensure any Tom, Dick or Harry doesn't start pulling the guts out.
The electronics do not necessarily require a computer or pda as almost everything can be set using the trigger.

I like the idea of special tools to get into markers, this way "tinkerers" can't do any damage, i've met way too many of those.

And Paul, i know a Dick and Harry.......:D :D
