oh my god its on a car park............event cost just went up by 20 quid for knee pads...
what happened to 'ballin on the beach'?.....
im not criticizing, i just thought it was going to be on the actual beach with turf over the top.....well thats what you get for assuming
..mad props still go out for having the balls to put this show on, and boy will i be putting on a show for all those women aged 45 and over that will be watching, the night out will be immense.
Knee pads are order of the day, as I am sure they are for the Millenniums which run astro on car parks or concrete. To be honest, knee pads are a sensible option anyway.oh my god its on a car park............event cost just went up by 20 quid for knee pads...

sorry for this daft question but i've never played on astro before so whats it like when wet?? very slippy?Knee pads are order of the day, as I am sure they are for the Millenniums which run astro on car parks or concrete. To be honest, knee pads are a sensible option anyway.
The name is one that the council encouraged us to use and we went with it. Blackpool beach is never dry enough (due to tides) to hold an event on the sand itself.
We will make sure the astro is watered as best we can so as to be as gentle as possible on your clothing and pads
I think I have some Dye knee pads lying around. I'll bring them over (if I remember ). I think I have some 'other' make as well. I'll fetch them as well.
For all those attending - you will be witnessing history in the making .
