One thing to note - although you've probably got it covered. Have you got any wind protection beach side? I remember one year at the PA when the scaffolding poles actually bent due to the netting acting like sails.

Looks like its going to be an awesome event.

Good question - the scaffolding is set up in a very different way by qualified scaffolding engineers and fully certified. The structure has been set to withstand strong winds and if things get very very blowy, we have made it easy to hoist the netting to eliminate the sail effect.

In addition to this, Jewson's have supplied us with 12 x 1 tonne baks of limestone chippings to weight the structure down. The prevailing wind (having checked with the council etc) is from the South West and as such we are also sheltered by the Pier.

Everything that can be done has been done to ensure we have a trouble free event but if things get hairly we will stop, hoist the netting and wait for it to calm down.

oh my god its on a car park............event cost just went up by 20 quid for knee pads...

what happened to 'ballin on the beach'?.....

im not criticizing, i just thought it was going to be on the actual beach with turf over the top.....well thats what you get for assuming

..mad props still go out for having the balls to put this show on, and boy will i be putting on a show for all those women aged 45 and over that will be watching, the night out will be immense.
