There were several other teams around the UK who attempted to bring the concept of tourney-ball to the 'masses' via their local media as well. Bridport Synapse, Stoke Quest 7, Leicester Wildcats, Kitsune (Norwich) and one of the welsh teams - soz i forget who -also were successful in getting their reports published on the BBC.co.uk website and in local papers.

Indeed, although, they did make errors on our report. They said we were in the top division, when we were in KOTH, which I pointed out to them but they never changed. Also, it only got published because I have some friends on the inside

i will give you my view as a newb

went down to "on the edge" with a few mates and had the rambo idea in my head (",) played for that day and enjoyed it a bit, went down another time and a couple of the guys down there let me have a few test shots with their guns, i was amased and then ma mate let me use his gun for a round whilst his kind soul was running around with a rental gun

after that 1 round i started to see how much "shiny" guns peform and started to see the tactical / REALLY fun side or paintballing ever since that day ive been hooked, just properly kitting myself out now with all the gear (still in need of a few things, might see some threads in the wanted section in a week or so) and i cant wait to play my first tourney and show the pro's how its done hehe

that was just my 2p worth i think if sites would take the risk and buy a few decent guns aswell as the rest of the rentals and rent them out aswell, in my humble opinion this will help those other "newbs" learn to love the game you guys do and im starting to
