Good move, cause they must have lost loads of custom with the law suits.
have a day off, "if" they just had the whole thing and damages reversed in Wisconson last week. Don't confuse SPs Euro Forum caning with their US Sales presence.

If, and it looks like PSP / NXL goes ESPN with lots of coverage, SP as one of the biggest names behind the NXL stand to benefit hugely. Given brand association etc, they have an entry level, bargain price point, almost Tourny capabale marker. Their going to shift tons of em, regardless of what us sophisticated Euro's think.

What no they won't shift loads, or you think they're poo?

Is the reversal just more internet heresy, it appeared to be a SP press release?

C'mon don't you think 12/14 year olds can be fickle, no?

What high cost technology have they introduced into the budget market?

Other than instant 'ramping' software gratification?

In think 'Intheno' is stating his opinon in regards to the thread title. :p

But i don't see that invalidates the points that I have made.
It doesnt, all im saying is that time and some hardcore playing time will tell whether this marker has what it takes to last. If it turns out that it breaks or whatever, i would be glad ive spent the extra on something i trust.

You get what you pay for....i guess im just a sceptic.

to a dagree your rite but could this just be the first realistic price for a marker we are seeing, gone are the days of needing to splash a decent amont of money for a half decent marker. at the end of the day if this helps build the sport and make it more accesable here in the uk it can only be agood thing !! . . .right ??

( i cant spell sorry)

So are new sales of mid to high end markers going to be affected?
Also what are the knock on effects going to be to the secondhand market? (i don't mean secondhand ions either, would you pay for a s/h mid range marker when you could buy an ion for similar money?

I can see what your saying, but there have been a couple of notable occasions when I've definatly got less than i paid for when spending out 4 times what an Ion costs!

I'll see what happens when I get mine, and subject it to my own "Special" service shedule. Oil up the end and a strip service about once a year. My impulse ran flawlessly for 12 months between services, if the ion can produce that kind of reliability then I think its gonna be a world changing gun!

Ian :)
