Hey Russ, I know the Mike from Freekz used 46 by 38 metres to set up his field and certainly the div 1 Eclipse field was near identical to that set up though i cant vouch for the other fields, if they were short it cant of been anything more than a couple of metre's but it could well of been different on the others.

Why is this again a mud fight? Why again is is needed to start a thread attacking a series that at least tries to bring more attention to the sport.

Who in the world of paintball cares about any UK league. There is not one UK league that can match the level of competition offered by the MS.

Yes, surely they have made mistakes in the past and they will make mistakes in the future.

The two league to play in Europe at the moment are simply the Millennium Series and the Centurio League.

Before pointing and screaming at events like this we might want to sit back and look at our piss poor UK scene.

We need to finally get a NATIONAL LEAGUE.

Not the PA Not the Masters not the Freekz not whatever as individuals but working together!

I said it before and I will say it again:

Things UK ball can do great:

B*TCH*NG

COMPLAINING

and blaming others for how bad our situation is.

Look around, look just passed the channel...look at Belgium. Their league is so well run that UK teams go there to play. They rather take the track all the way there than wasting time and money in the UK!

You are worried about the size of the field...how about the way a certain uk team did act at the event? Causing another incedent?

Guys, there are more urgent things to address than a field that might be too small.

Russel, what happened at the last PA? How good was the Reffing!?

Lets stop this bitching and moaning and finally start to do some constructive stuff!

Here we go again  ;)
Olly I do love you, you little German sausage but why does everything have to come back to a national league. Yeah sure it may be a good idea but it will take a LOT of organisation and backing and I dont think there is that level of commitment in this country. If you want one so bad mate, why dont you set it up? I for one wouldnt play a national league as it is far too serious for me. Turning up to a local event ithout training and playing some paintball with my mates is all I want to do now :)
This country cant even support one leg (CC) in this country let alone a whole league! and yes I know the UK was represented well this year :)
Lets not make this another we need this, we need that thread as I dont know why Millenium even bother with the UK with all the crap they get and support they dont recieve from this country. I will be VERY surprised if they hold one here next year. Sorry Olly but I dont see it happening.
As for field sizes Russ, I think fields should get shorter ever year then us old boys wouldnt have to run so far :D

How that's a touch harsh Russ when you have zero evidence that they were shorter than they should have been.

Andy,

I have no evidence what size they were at all and would not understand if they was as they have held events there before.

I have been told from a few players (who played SPL and CPL) who played the PA that they thought the PA fields were bigger.
I just wanted to check if the Millennium had changed the field size without telling anyone, them doing something without telling the players when it directly effects them is not exactly without president is it.

And before everyone thinks I am anti MS, you would be wrong not at all I just want them as the premier event in Europe to do everything right, as they above anyone else should be able to do.
Europe need to have a premier event that is head and shoulder above the rest in the same continent and the MS has the honour of promoting paintball at that level, it should be as near to perfect as it can be.
The rule book has not been updated for two years even though the rules they play by have, teams are still reffing teams, dates are still not confirmed until the last moment.

It's a 7/10 could do better, the personal behind it a certainly capable they just need to kick others up the arse.

Planet Piper away from you freaks!
Russ

You say it is no an anti MS post but the way you ask your question begs to differ. I just hope the millennium don't read this thread the way I read it, because if they do I would be prepared for some back lash on this Russ.

7/10 how can you give that to an event where not even at? You want them to do everything right! With all best will in the world I do not think anyone has ever got an event 100% right.

Personally Russ I see this as an attack on the MS by you no matter what you say and the attack comes from no evidence what so ever, other than someone saying " I thought the fields where small"

Mind you I wonder if the PA fileds where slightly bigger than normal.............. No cahnce of that Russ as you never make mistakes :)

For crying out loud Olly, do you not think criticism if valid is justified if the fields was on the short side what was the point of players spending all that time and effort and cash trying to find some sort of advantage.

Makes F*** all difference to me, until I am asked did I set the field used at the PA the right scale.
Stop trying to read things between the lines that are not there.

I am quite capable of telling them they are a bunch of tossers if that is what I believed, I don't, because they are not, when I **** up people tell me and if they are right I do not hide behind excuses any **** up at the PA is ultimately down to me.
Are you saying nobody should complain to the MS even with a valid reason.
