Yes, make sure you use at least a couple of packs.

MUST be boiling water, tip a couple of kettles full into a bucket (e.g. enough to cover both halves of the shell) and then drop your plastics in. Stir them every few minutes so the dye doesn't 'pool' in one area and make it uneven.

After an hour or so, take them out and rinse them - voila! :) I did the tray, feedneck and both shell sides. It makes more of a 'tint' than a complete colour change but by increasing the amount of dye you use and the temperature of the water (hotter = darker) you can darken the colour.

Good luck with it...

They look cool. Surprised Bowen hasn’t tried this yet. One of the Eclipse Factory Team guys in the USA did his Egg in the same colours of his Gun, Red, White and Blue. Buy dipping in each end in a different colour, but before anyone does this remember that you are not allowed 2 tone loaders in Millennium rules.

cheers guys.

gonna buy two clear shells for the Evo II and dye then, then if they turn out ok i shouldnt have to dye the insides, but if i do at least i know that it will work! LF13 why didnt you buy replacement shells for the hopper? rather than give it away?
