So, Heavy Primer

Any filling, correction etc

Several coats of light primer

Sand between coats.

Light coats of paint as required, no sanding.

Lacquer, lacquer, lacquer.

Buff and polish.

No sanding the lacquer then?
Time between coats...of paint or lacquer..12 hours?

Will be spraying outdoors (probably, to save the guinea pigs in the shed), but storing indoors for drying.
