thanks @Canon Fodder , again, very much appreciated for sending me the screws.... @Gee Tee thanks for your extended knowledge of 'cocker parts and dimensions (I really need to learn more) and thanks to @Gadget @renie and @jahlad for your input and help.

I have been into 'cockers for some years but with tournament rules and lack of funds, that and missing out on some good ones and some bargains its not been easy to get one but now I can

so anything 6-32 is ok ?.....or call planet.....

6-32 is the thread size the length can vary, for example on an lv1 there are 3 different sizes 6-32 x1/2", 6-32x1/8" and 6-32x1/16
any of them will work if the thread is correct but the longer ones may stick out, its been a while since i had a cocker in bits but i think they are 6-32x1/16" but 1/8" will work just fine as the screws are out of the way and if they are sticking out at all its only going to be 1/6" and they wont be in a place where you will catch anything on them.
