Angel volumeisers

Dunerat

player for hire
Well u see gents I bought myself a dark lcd angel and it came with a volumizer on the right side. So what you are saying is that Rocky Cagnioni put this thing on just for cosmetics, or am I mislead here?
Its just that some of you are saying that its a waste having any volumizers on a angel lcd?

Frans, if you look at the angel from the front, the left side has the LPR, and if a volumizer is fitted, this is where it should be. The other side has the battery. Get a 4mm allen key and remove the right side cover, and you should see the end of the battery. But just in case the dark angel has altered internals, make sure the gun is degassed.

It seems that everyone has a different opinion on here about what's good or bad, that's the thing about forums.
But i would check if there's a battery under the right cover (as you look at the front of the gun).
If there is don't bother with a volumizer on that side, as it won't do a thing.
On the left side, where the LPR is, your choice mate, try it, if it feels better use.

Okay, just to clarify. YES It is pointless to put volumizers on the old model angels. They put them on the Dark's just for looks, and so that you can have that more custom feel.

Mark,
I wasn't saying that BOTH volumizers were usefull on the LED, I was just saying that back in the day when they had the original LED internals one volumizer (on the LPR side of the marker) aided somewhat in lowering the pressure, as the internals did not allow as much air flow as the ones to follow and it put a larger volume of air behind the LPR.

Okay then, it's settled. Forget about a volumizer unless you've got a Speed or A4, or unless you find one that you think looks good with your angel, because they're as cosmetic an upgrade as say, the sightrail

Ok a Typo the G and the B are next to each other on the keyboard, and yes a huge waste of cash as a £20 volumiser does the same job...that is nothing.
