Ben, you know you mention you dont ahve to fire slowly when calibrating the marker, well everywhere i have read it has been said that you do have to, as wouldnt some people just play with out calibrating as it would calibrate as they played so they were doing it without even knowing?Originally posted by Benfrain
Look, RTFM, that's what it's for, details of all modes and what they do are in there in plain English. If you don't have the manual, download it from www.wdp.tv
Sensi 1+3 will not let you chop if calibrated properly each time you power on the marker (no need to calibrate if just going from safe to live). Contrary to common belief you don't HAVE to fire slowly to calibrate. The Angel speed and 4 both cap the firing rate to 13BPS until the board calibrates your loader, then it ups it to whatever your loader can sustane (upto 31BPS limit of the marker).
If you are running with sensi 1 or 3 definately on and you are chopping, as others have already stated it is more than likely the loader (some Halo's don't work well on Angels). Try a different one.
So in summary, read the manual, make sure you are using sensi mode 1 or 3 and try a different loader such as an Evo II. If it is still chopping then, post up and we can all trouble shoot you further. But meet us half way here and at least read the manual so you know what you are doing.
Ben thats what i mean, all these people with problems with the sensi, simply because it hasnt been calibrated, but if it does work the way you describe then why would they have the problems in the first place, there shouldnt be any if it calibrates it for them without them even knowing surely?Originally posted by Benfrain
Exactly, that's why it works the way it does.
Some people don't read the manual, but it doesn't matter if they don't because it calibrates for them anyhow
Check out this link for more info on the calibration...

True the manula NEEDS to be read to understand the marker fully, Ben that wasnt the point i was trying to make, no big deal just wandered as it didnt really make sense, as all these people with problems with the sensi, simply because it hasnt been calibrated, but if it does work the way you describe then why would they have the problems in the first place, there shouldnt be any if it calibrates it for them without them even knowing surely? What do u think?Originally posted by Benfrain
LOL. didn't mean to cause you offence, I just know that it will all seem a lot less alien to you once you've read it.
Liam, I don't think there is a problem once people use sensi modes 1+3, no risk of chops. Modes 2+4 - slight risk of chops. That's really all there is to it. Can't understand why anyone would want to run it without sensi by choice though??
I do think there is a problem with Halo's and Angels but that has always been an issue. Having said that, I run my 4 with a Halo and have zero problems so far with chops.
