Nah, I was just thinking that a lot of USA judging that I have been subject to has been, lax, biased or just downright hysterical. (admittedly I haven't played as many USA events as some and that the ones I have tend to be blasted by all for their bad judging).

As part of a European team in the USA, I never felt we were competing on even ground against some of the more well known teams. Some of the 'judging excuses' for favouring home teams were just hysterical. I love the fact they are working to improve the judging for the S7, and that Magued's team got such respect for their judging.

I like anything that means the Euro's have more chance of winning in the USA. And better judging is, in my opinion, one of those things :)

:)

And Man, for every Euro that goes home having been dicked by a ref, there's a US team coming back from Europe with tha same story - whether you guys hear it or not.

And Euro teams have made tha finals at NPPLs in tha past - Banzai, NWC and Preds I believe. Were any of them ever good enough to win?

Maybe tha Preds that one time? Were they cheated out of an historic victory? Ask Robo...

But it is a worthy point, first time ever they didnt get punished beacuse there not american and they finished 2nd!! And make no misstake about it Euros have been treated like **** at most Us events reffing wise.
Skyball
World cup
Pittsburg
etc etc

I know have seen it first hand.

Magued
Interesting Mag, as Phil Dominguez, in praising the dedication of the Swedes and the TonTons who lost some vacation time when you all were "drafted" to help to get everything ready in time for the tournament said between the two groups you laid out the fields.
Now I suppose Phil may have unintentionally overstated the TonTons contribution and I can only go by what he said. If you say it was different then that's fine.

But while we're at it were you present at the Captain's Meeting when it was decided bare feet would not be allowed on the playing fields?
If so can you explain why there was at least one TonTon player allowed to play bare foot the entire tournament?

Yeah I've heard it, they are usually complaining about being eliminated for being hit  or getting one for one's for playing on... Heaven forbid :D

All the top USA teams I talk to, GZ, Dynasty, Avalanche, Redz, etc. all say they love playing here and one of the reasons is the better reffing :)

What y'all seem determined to view as some sorta anti-Euro bias is nothing of the sort. The reality has been that in large part if your team wasn't part of the "in" crowd--for lack of a better term--you were on the outside and plenty of other US teams got the same treatment you guys seem to think was your special treatment.

Yeah, did you notice where I quoted it? :)

Funny that a lot of these guys talk to me about all aspects of the events, and that when reporting such events I go out of my way to talk to them... I don't think there's been many USA teams at Millennium events that I haven't talked to and gotten their comments.

Which events were you at? Which teams are you talking about? I expect I can even go back through my notes and get quotes for you :)
