I just thought, it's interesting how at an American event hailed for some of the best marshalling ever, that a European team finished second...

TonTon didnt help set up any field. 2 guys from adrenaline and Laurent helped us inflate and sort outthe bunkers but Laurent made really sure that he wasnt involved to set up the field. I set up all the fields.
But it is a worthy point, first time ever they didnt get punished beacuse there not american and they finished 2nd!! And make no misstake about it Euros have been treated like **** at most Us events reffing wise.

I agree Magued. As someone who also believes his team was on the receiving end of some 'interesting calls' because he wasn't part of the USA clique at WC...

And no disrespect to Tontons, but let us not forget that at least five teams who weren't there would be regarded as better than tha Tontons on paper - and thopse teams were there in tha past and may have had something to do with their non-appearance in tha finals.

No disrespect to the Tons-Tons or the other teams attending - however there where some names missing - Aftershock, AA's, Trauma, Ironmen (both) etc. etc. etc.

While there where some "big boys" there it was nowhere near what we are used to seeing - even at millennium events.

I do think the reffing played some part in it - but I don't think it was that big a factor - if anything it merely ensured we got a good "shake" against the competition that was there.
