Making paintball appeal to everyone isn't a goal worth pursuing, in fact doing so has been the downfall of numerous attempts to publicize it. It should be run as it without any DisneyBall stuff that makes us look stupid and wastes tons of money. What the heck could be simpler than the way it already is? People all learn the rules of other sports, most of which are far more complicated. Heck, you only have to watch 6 or 10 players a lot of the time! I for one don't want the kind of morons that can't follow and understand something as simple as that OR the kind that whine until stuff is adjusted to be "politically correct" meaning castrating everything in their path till there is nothing left to bitch about.

i understand that most people want paintball to stay like it is for many reasons, but the same people often complain when people make assumptions and give paintball a bad rep.. the only way to reverse our reputation is to inform the general public of what we're about and how we function. i don't want painball to change anymore than the next guy, but there are some things about paintball that people would be better off knowing(ex. saftey)

Americans are great, especially when you're from Texas. I believe we have cornered the market on hick towns and hick town tourneys, but hey, paintball that's small is better than no paintball at all. Although I do agree that coming out of the woods is the best move we can make. I want to play, not hike.:)

Hi Tony. The £ sign stands for pounds, lires were the Italian currency now replaced by the Euro. Euros are roughly the same value as dollars (or were last time I looked) and the pound is worth about $1.35 (VERY roughly, can't remember the current exchange rate)
