damn!!! i haden't looked at the thread since yesterday morning, more posts then i thought there would be. Don’t like the criticism guys, i simply said that i didn't see many americans posting. on the american thread i've still only seen like 7, but heres a few of my responses:

1. i have been to england, it's a nice country over there but i dont like the food.
2. not all american paintball games are in hick-towns
3. u british people do talk a lot, but i wouldn't call u loud mouth brits.
4. to all the brits out there, i've never heard of most of the places ur from so to me ur games are heald in backwoods england.
5. i hijacked the post and changed the theme to paintballers everywhere who's games aren't spoken about much.
6. of course its an international board, if i'm american and i recognized that most of the major posters are british then u can assume that i realized that england and the us are 2 different countries and the board is therefore international. btw i've seen posters from everywhere accept fiji:)

now that i'm done complaining u people can keep responding!!!

So on an open day at my local field we had a game and to make it fair we both played with rentals to my tears my marker was left on the sidelines bah but i won and i gave him a scar on his hand to leave him a reminder of how much Pball rocks

Well, you see me around from time to time here and there. By no means are all our tourneys held in hick towns, though a lot of them that are I wish weren't. We need to have them on golf course like places or soccer stadiums like the Millenium series, but first we need some form of public outreach, which unfortunately the powers that be over here are about as excited about doing as having a dentist perform a root canal with scraps of an old rusty tin barn roof. Either that or they're horrendously complacent, happy that such a scant percentage of the population has even heard about serious paintball rather than all the camo woods rec crap that should be thrown into the dumpster forever.

Austin, Texas here. I haven't posted on here for a while because of the heavy overseas emphasis this board has. The only reason I poped on today was because I was looking for more info on the NPPL and where it might be held in June.

if we want to get paintball to be held in stadiums as The Sport of the Future or something then we need to have a plan. we need players everywhere to promote the sport as safe and fun for all ages, and most of all we need to get internationally recognized as a sport. we need to stop the a$$holes from goin around shootin granny's dog and we need to make our sport known for the good team fun it promotes. that is the only way we are ever going to see it in a stadium, and it starts with each and every one of us. we individuals who go out every day, or weekend, or whatever and play because paintball is something we love. as soon as we do that our rep will improve, and instead of seing a large tourney as 50 teams and a total of 600 players, we'll se 500 teams, and 10,000 players.

Recap:
1.if we want paintball to become internationally acclaimed then we need to find a way to make it appealing to everyone.
2.we need to educate the public on the safty and fun of the sport, b/c if they dont know, they wont care.
3.we need to go out and promote the sport, give out buisness cards, get a paintball bumber-sticker, anything that will grab people's attention.
4.it all starts with you

phew!!! not that that rant is over time for some tv!;)
