Now that Toulouse has come and gone, does anyone believe that US Amateur teams and Eurpean Am teams are in the same class?

Word here in the states is that Gateway romper stomped some Euros and Evil got knocked out of the finals by none other than Gateway. That means 100% of the events attended by an American team were won by an American team.

I'd say that American teams deffinatly have an advantage for the same reason we do in basketball. Its our sport. We have a deeper history with it.

Thats not to say that Europe isn't fielding good teams and isn't cathcing up. We are just more deeply rooted in it.

In a little while, the field should be fairly even.

or the fact you have a population 5 times the size of ours:rolleyes:

that gives you 5 times more chances to find star players like the likes of ollie lang etc

We are that much bigger than all of Europe, including Russia?

Its just a matter of time unti lthe field becomes even and we see an even greater influx of foreign born players. Look at the the NBA, NHL, and MLB.

Ugh

I spoke with the guys from Evil and they said they had nice competition here. "Word in the states" doesn't worth jack**** mate until you drag your butt here and see/hear it for yourself.

For your info the Am A final standing is not what it would have been if someone plays more attention to the details.
Why do I say that? Look for the thread "Shoot the Cameramen" and you will understand!!!

Give the same conditions and sponsorship packages to Europeans and THEN if the U.S teams win you have a right to make theese kind of statements.

Until then I feel that you're looking for some cheap controversy trying to bait a well known european forum into a flamewar.

What's the point of this thread ??
are we supposed to give answers with soccer examples to make a point ?

Anyway

First of all Paintball is a US origined sport so has a longer history stateside
and
The USA has a Bigger pool of people who actually play Paintball>>bigger chance some of them end up playing Tourney Paintball

NSGA survey result

Paintball games replaced snowboarding as the fastest growing sport in 2002 among those surveyed by the National Sporting Goods Association (NSGA). With 24.4% growth, paintball games attracted 6.9 million participants in 2002 .

Maybe in the whole of Europe we might have a few thousand regular SupAirTourney Ballers
