OK in essence.

I apologise for upsetting Rancid. It was never meant as an attack. Just poorly worded criticism. I tend to post as i would speak and often forget that some people dont know me. Thus they take offence to my manner.

I feel the new design is too "american" rather than international. Maybe a blend of the old style and new style could be a better way forward. I personally dislike the american style of layout. I find it rather simple and plain and doesnt hold the eye as well.
But thats just my opinion as a customer, and so can be taken however you wish.

I cant believe you guys thought i was threatining Rancid, sorry but i dont do threats, Its either do or dont. And this no where near reaches a do All i was suggesting is if he would like to discuss this off forum (phone or in person) then i would be willing to do so. Forums are too easily misread or misinterprated (sp?) and it just gets worse when things get heated. I aint one to sit back from an argument, but forums aint the place for them

So can we get back to the discussion now?

Been trying to post this all day but having pc problems!

Ok just got the mag in the post...Only thing I can say is..

Well Done Guys! I think the new look is hot! Will make it stand out alot more on the newsagents with the white backround at the top. The inside style is just as good and I think it is easy to read, whoever has trouble with it should get their eyes checked.
Big Thumbs up from me!

No probs from me Famine !

And just so's there's no confusion about all this.
We will listen to anybody and everybody, criticism or praise, both dealt with in the same manner as long as the post is constructive and not abusive.
We (PGI) are not here to piss people off (though I know I do it sometimes....ok, ok, quite a lot then) we are here to provide the world of Paintball with the best magazine we can publish and if we can achieve that, everybody's happy.
Famine made a good point in a PM to me that he thought since we had emphasized this new design toward our major demographic, that of the US youth player, that perhaps the magazine would inevitably lose its 'International' appeal.
Not a bad point but we must remember, what the US youth like today, us Euros want tomorrow.
Now nobody at PGI is saying this style is an absolute template for the coming months, it ain't, there are things (like the magenta colouring) I don't like and we will honestly listen to all serious input from you guys and no doubt will be adjusting certain areas but a change was needed, make no mistake about that.
We won't forget our roots but we sure as sh!t can't ignore the future !
Peace

I'm liking the new look so sod all you fuddy duddies who are scared of change. Just think about the image it gives as you slam it down on WHSmiths counter [for those non-subscribers].

I'm liking the new look inside aswell, very 'busy' and busy is good in my opinion.

One gripe though....

I'm not liking the picture of the arse in the top right corner of page 28. I was trying to block that moment out of my memory and its bad enough I have to play in the same team as these two guys.
Please Robbo take the chimp off our hands, we are seriously getting worried about the young lad all those women at Joymasters and he decides to pull a team mates strides down.

I subscribe to PGI because I have never found it in any shop, be it WHSmith or a more local independent news agent.

In any of the towns I go between,.

Guildford, Godalming, Gosport and Portsmouth

Not a complaint as i subscribe but just so I can sell it to others

Why, you little so and so! It is clearly Irish in style, or may Russian Constructivist! We don't even have moat of those magazines the designers are apparently being influenced by!;)
