Not at all. In theory there's no reason at all why an all female team couldn't be better than any all male team. In fact as women generally have faster reflexes than men, tend to be smaller in physical size and physiologically can adopt stances and positions that men find uncomfortable the theory suggests that overall they should actually be better.
I've watched Fat Lady's Charms several times and at the level they play at they out perform many all male teams they play.
I just don't believe that all girl teams actually promote women playing paintball aside from the "novelty" value that is all that really gets the attention. If we're trying to look at paintball as a sport and not as a circus the girls who stand out from a players point of view are the gems who play alongside their male colleagues.
Gender is irrelevant as far as I'm concerned. On the field a player is a mask and a gun, nothing more or less. I look at this from the viewpoint of equestrian or driving sports where men and women compete on equal footing...they get noticed for their skills (certain tennis players excepted) which is how I believe it should be in paintball.
