Lets work it out, Angel with Reg-£200, Profilers-£35, 2 hoppers-£40, barrel kit-£50. this alone comes to £325, 04 vikings are going for around £350, so what do you mean "addin cash and quite a bit"
I know mike, think i'll end up selling all the stuff a bit at a time. Just all the hassel, you know what I mean, "can i get a pic", "will you drop to..." so on n so forth
I understand that mate but as far as I know most people over here who do have excals don't really use them. It's all DM4's, Angels, Cockers and the like. I'm probably wrong but what do I know
4 Of the people in my team shoot vikings ( i dotn see what hte fuss is about). Pm any of the edinburgh keltics and they can give you all the info you need..especially gav.
Excal is buttery smooth to shoot, slower than the Viking but with the 15 bps cap and ramping (once available) it won't be a problem.
The excals are a bit heavier, and have more bits so thus more bit's to go wrong.
If you buy into the whole 'closed bolt is more accurate' than the excal is a good choice between the 2 both are extremely consistant though as you should already know from your vik, if not it needs more shots through it.
I did have both at one time but never really used the excal enough to notice any differance myself.
Problem with either the Vik or Excal is tech support, AKA do run courses though so if ya fancy a trip to the states.......
