Basically sounds ok but it isn't 'cos the test for one regime will mean that the tank is tested in a manner which exceeds the requirements for the other test, once a dual bottle is tested it will remain that type of bottle...the reason they can put the test label for both prior to retesting is that the spec of the bottle has been submitted to BOTH bodys for verification that it meets their needs and as it does it can be labelled DOT and HSE, once the label runs out you are stuck with the test it now uses...all regulation gobbledegook but its there. Think how awkward this situation will become when Americans start to sell retested Angel AIR tanks...and of course the same applies for Brits selling retested bottles. Buy a used bottle before it needs testing or find a bottle that needs to be tested but "hasn't" that would work but unlikely to happen. The only (current) alternative to the WDP bottle is Smart Parts.
