Ok thru these boards i have brought many teams together through the social side of pball.
So WTF is wrong with, wheres the pub, what time etc?
Its all pballers meeting up, To call 20 people is a pain in the arse, to post is much easier!
So is this forum now against pballers getting to know and meet each other, on and off the field?
If u aint intrested in the post topic, dont read it, how hard is that?

For all those teams that made it tonight, great seeing you, Lets just hope we are allowed to keep our open to public socials on a public board

It's not just the pub talk, I merely used that as an example. There is a lot of schoolyard bickering going on as well. And threads that are about serious issues often get turned into chummy backslapping sessions, which causes a lot of people that want to add to the topic to reconsider posting.
Also, since by now a very large part of the topics is not about paintball, we are actually scaring potential new people off. Do you honestly think that the big names feel like posting in here when all they see is just some nonsensical yahoo?
It's perfectly fine to put up some sort of open invitation to all paintballers for some pub meeting. But when people start saying things like 'how's the new sweater you bought', I think it's getting silly.
Also, since by now a very large part of the topics is not about paintball, we are actually scaring potential new people off. Do you honestly think that the big names feel like posting in here when all they see is just some nonsensical yahoo?

Buddha's right - we keep saying 'please stop doing this' and the same people keep ignoring us. Stop the bull**** people - this ain't a place to arrange to meet your mates at the pub or whatever. Mail each other.
We don't wanna keep bitching but we want more people from all over the world to join these forums, and when lurkers look up and down and see thredz like 'What you doing tonight?' or 'time for pub meet' they think 'Wow, cliquey, I won't bother joining.
For example, three thredz in the top 9 at the moment are headed up with Team Apocalypse - and all of em could and should have been done on e-mail. I ain't picking on you guys, but think how it looks to newcomers and other regulars guys...sheesh, if every team/rec player behaved like that then the whole forum would just be teams talking to their own teammates on a public board.
For pretty much the last time, PLEASE show us a little respect when we ask nicely.
And I'm serious this time.
