If you are prepared to buy form overseas get a Intimidator, same price as a non vision impulse I would recommend www.canadianpaintball.com
all the uk companies i asked charged twice.

Otherwise get an impulse vision, air, freak and halo they really do rock.

Thunder quick question on the intimidator.
does the one you brought come witha semi only board?

normal timmys have all the select fire modes which are illegal over here. So is it the case that uk brought timies have been modded and that is why they are so much more than i expected?

or is a us or canadian brought timmy the same a uk one?

how's the timmy for relieability?

Why not buy a second hand LCD with air,hopper and the rest for 650.00 - 700.00 and if you go to a comp and are realy looking to buy then the owner wiil probly lend it to you for the day so you know what you will be getting.

Right:

I have a SOB in mine (purchased separately) - the other guys have the select fire board locked in semi. This is OK (like Shocker Turbo boards - only "illegal" if they are not locked in semi)

I don't quite know how the RRP of Uk timmy's can get up to the £800 mark. Phoenix did a deal for 5 guns which made them an good price. I got mine direct from the states but also got ALL the upgrades possible and still worked out to less that £700. So there are 4 Timmy's in Thunder and 2 ex-Thunder players have them too.

yes, US/Canadian/UK timmy's are the same

Can't fault mine. Had a problem in one game which turned out to be a flat battery. Haven't chopped a ball in anger and it is sh1t quick.

Where are you based? I'd be happy to let you have a go if you come down to the Xball trials.

I know the price if you bought 5 or more was stupidly cheap(can't remember exact), but it means if you can talk a few around, you could get a good deal - best bet would be to call Andy at phoenix and see what he can do.

I live in nottinghamshire about 10 minutes from Skirmish in the little village of Eakring.
Supposed to be playing with Trigger Happy though as yet the closest I've got to a tourney was at the academy in march.

Can't possibibly get a new gun yet, but i'm thiking 4 months down the line when i go into work placement and start eaning a proper wage.

For the price they charge over here you could get a dragon or a fully tricked out timmy with air in the states, it's a bit sick.
