You can't maintain a gun if you don't understand it, or at least that's my opinion. You said maintain, not understand.
I shoot an Ion.
But I dont go around saying its THE easiest to maintain gun out there. Because its not.
For example, being able to slide the bolt out of the gun easily, having fewer active orings, makes alot of bang valve guns far easier to maintain than mine.
You mentioned the quest there, which is an interesting one.
Ive never even been near the manual but I have successfully stripped down and serviced a few quests. Its a very simple design which for a spool valve lends itself to easy maintinence as its so hard to get wrong with or without a manual.
On the other hand, friends of mine who own minis, following the manual (badly) have lost tiny bits of the gun, or fired the whole insides out the back, and eventually just gave up on it because of the hastle.
Anyway, I don't say that the mini is the easiest gun to maintain without a reason. (Parenthesis here. We're talking about electro guns, as many -if not all - mech guns are easier than the mini)
Before buying it I read tons of reviews on pbreview, also checked the stickies they got at the nation. I strongly suggest you find the Mega Sticky for invert and watch the tech videos, you just can't go wrong with the basic maintenance of the gun. Furthermore, the tiny bits you are saying, I suppose you mean parts like the trigger magnet and that other tiny bit that I can't remember how it's called.
I don't want to sound like a smartass or something, but threads about these bits have been made over and over and over again on many forums. I'm not saying that if it's been discussed it is perfectly okay, but a couple of hours reading before disassembling a gun could save you from a lot of hassle.
Bottom line is that it is the simplest gun I've ever had in my hands, but that might be me.
