A marker doesn't make a player.
A good player can do any thing, so it wouldn't be fair to judge a markers performance on a player.

Thought i had typed up a response last night but internet failed!!
Thanks for all who have posted so far.
The idea was born from the feeling that games are pretty much stalemated now due to the technology avaliable, so this would be a way of "opening" up the sport so that there was an "alternate" element allowing those games on the field to return to a more "skilled" showcase (players being strategic, etc) as opposed to just coming to a shut down and laning. by removing the over accurate markers from a playing field imo makes things a little more challenging as nothing has a garanteed "flight path".
come to think of it i'm not sure in my head if im putting what i'm trying to say across well lol!!
